FACTION46:
MY ULTIMATE LEARNING EXPERIENCE

When I left Daytona in February of 2023 as a fan celebrating my high school graduation, I said that I would never come back until I had a job. When I made that statement, never did I expect to be back there exactly one year later with my dream job.

That's what Faction46 was for me, a chance to live out my dream. Not many people can say they had their dream job at 19, but handling Public Relations and social media for a NASCAR Truck team was my dream. The Lord just happened to pull some major strings and I landed it before I even completed my first semester of college.

For the first five months of my role with Faction46, I also continued carrying the weight of my Daily Downforce responsibilities, as their lead social media manager and strategist. From 8-4 I would run Daily Downforce accounts, from 4-10 I would pour everything I could into Faction46, then I would spend my weekends at the track handling everything on-site.

This 4-10 job very quickly consumed not only my time, but also my passion. I have a tendency to go ALL in. I like to give 110% to everything I do, and even though this was a brand new team with a rookie driver, I was still ALL in.

When the opportunity from A.E. Engine came in April to transition to a role that allowed me to put more focus on Faction during normal working hours, I quickly jumped into it. My days were quickly taken over by press releases, scheduling, editing photos, creating social media content, managing sponsor deliverables, turning in paint schemes, organizing VIP lists, ordering hero cards and crew shirts, and other miniscule tasks that no one necessarily thinks about but are equally important in a smooth-flowing race weekend. I truly loved the work I was getting to do, I loved the people I was getting to work with, and I loved the momentum we were creating.

Unfortunately due to circumstances outside of my control, this chapter in my life was abruptly ended at the end of June. While I did take some time to grieve the dream I had lost, my focus then shifted into how can I take what I've learned and done and use it to find the next opportunity to get back doing what I love.

This chapter of my life taught me the importance of good people, and the characteristics of good leaders. I learned what it looks like to build relationships with sponsors and partners. This chapter not only bettered my writing skills, but also my organization, social media strategy development, and photography. Being able to build connections with people in the shop and at the track made this entire experience worthwhile for me.

Let's work together!

I'm always looking for experiences and opportunities to work alongside amazing people!
